Scooby-Doo and Krypto, Too! – Now on DVD & Digital – Animated Film Review

The very popular cartoon canine, Scooby-Doo is back and he’s teaming up with Krypto the super dog.  It is now available on DVD and Digital.  Along with Scooby and Krypto, we have the team reunited including Fred, Daphne, Velma and Shaggy.  It was nice to see Matthew Lillard back in the Shaggy role.  He’s always done a great job with it.

In every Scooby-Doo mystery, there is a cause to attend to.  With the superheroes from DC’s Justice League go missing, the team is on the case to figure out what happened and bring some bad guys to justice.

The crossover between Scooby-Doo and the superheroes of DC actually works very well.  The villains all over the city, the sharp animation and the fun factor involved in this make it an entertaining flick.

To stay true to the dark horror side of the series, there is a spooky bad guy that they must contend with that gives Shaggy and Scooby the opportunity to show their courage or lack thereof.    You also get the Joker and how can you go wrong with him?  This is just a film that was done well and understood both sides of the conflict.  I recommend it.

The DVD comes with a bunch of extras as well.  So if you are a Scooby fan, this is for you or if you are looking for a stocking stuffer for your kid, it might be a good idea.
