Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just released the Emmy Award-winning HBO documentary “THE BEE GEES: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART.” HBO films are known for their quality and they shine even brighter with their documentaries.
Currently on Blu-ray, DVD, Digital and streaming on HBO Max, THE BEE GEES: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART, directed by Frank Marshall, gives an inside look at the music business, working with family and the ups and downs of fame and success. The film really explores the family dynamic and how success can impact a family. You also get to go on the journey with the band, reliving their run from the 1960s.
The documentary showcases the Gibbs with great interviews that are really no holds barred. This is an honest film and I really appreciated that. I didn’t know a lot of the band going into this but they played a much bigger role in so many musical careers through their writing and influence. I ended up listening to music that they had a part in on YouTube after I watched this documentary and I’m even more impressed by their journey and contributions to the music industry.
THE BEE GEES: HOW CAN YOU MEND A BROKEN HEART is what you’d expect from an HBO film. It’s a quality piece of work that holds nothing back and reveals the life of a famous band that went beyond their own band to impact the entire business. I cannot recommend this enough.
