Bellator MMA will officially kick off its partnership with CBS Sports Network, the 24-hour home of CBS Sports, LIVE this Thursday, Oct. 1 at 4 p.m. ET. The event will take place inside Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy.
Beginning with this event, CBS Sports Network will televise Bellator MMA events, both domestic and international, LIVE in all U.S. markets, while preliminary matchups will stream on CBSSports.com and Bellator MMA’s YouTube channel. This Thursday’s Bellator 247: Jackson vs. Kielholtz preliminary card begins at 1 p.m. ET.
The event is anchored by an exciting flyweight main event pitting former world title challenger Kate Jackson (11-4-1) against Bellator Kickboxing champion Denise Kielholtz (5-2), with the dual-sport fighter continuing to impress every time she steps inside the Bellator MMA cage.
Three additional main card matchups are also confirmed, with unbeaten Hungarian prospect Norbert Novenyi Jr. (4-0) taking on Laid Zerhouni (7-5) at middleweight, an explosive featherweight contest pitting Ireland’s Brian Moore (12-7) against Italy’s Simone D’Anna (7-2) and a 160-lb. contract weight bout between undefeated Chris Duncan (6-0) and Iamik Furtado (6-3).
Following Thursday’s Bellator 247: Jackson vs. Kielholtz event, the ViacomCBS-owned promotion will once again return to Allianz Cloud in Milan, Italy to close out a trio of shows on Saturday, Oct. 3 for a Bellator MMA European Series event headlined by a bantamweight grudge match between James Gallagher (10-1) and Cal Ellenor (8-2). Preliminary action kicks off LIVE at 1:15 p.m. ET on the Bellator YouTube Channel, with LIVE main card action shortly to follow at 5 p.m. ET on the Bellator YouTube Channel.
