Kenny Omega cuts a promo on AEW champion, Jon Moxley, noting that his dad could kick Moxley’s dad’s ass. Omega’s promos aren’t the best, but he has his moments. I think there is plenty of room to improve and his heel work seems better.
Darby Allin burns up a car while displaying the TNT title. He is still a lost soul even after acquiring the belt.
Powerhouse Hobbs, now a member of Team Taz, is in singles action against Lee Johnson, looking for his first win. Poor Johnson is 0-16. He’s at least trying, but his chances of even surviving Hobbs are slim.
Hobbs is ruthless and is beating Johnson down without mercy. A big power slam gets the easy 3 count for Hobbs. Taz is going to bring him to new level and a new superstar is being born.
Taz is demanding to speak to management and they cut his microphone. He gets the announcer’s microphone and they cut that off as well. Cody Rhodes comes out to the ring and tells him that he is wasting time. Taz wants his FTW championship to be recognized and Cody basically tells him that he will think about it.
After a mention of Taz’s son training with Cody, Taz goes ape shit and chokes out Cody Rhodes. He still has it.
