By Chris Summerfield

Secure Tronics have created three robots for the security of, Park Plaza shopping Mall, they are introduced in an introduction by the technology specialist of Secure Tronics and for added security the shopping Mall has been installed with time lock metal security doors that seal the exits… Then those famous last words are said, “Nothing can go wrong”.

Then later a lightning storm strikes and manages to damage the computer that controls the three security robots within the shopping Mall, therefore the robots come alive and kill the technicians watching over them then finally killing a Janitor before they enter the supposed empty mall, though there is a party underway, eight young highly sexed couples enjoying the lock in, three of which work within the mall, these unfortunate party goers become the target for the Killer robots.

The party goers being Mike Brennan (John Teriesky) and his partner, Leslie Todd (Suzee Slater) Also, Greg Williams (Nick Segal) and his girlfriend, Suzie Lynn (Barbara Crampton) There is also the married couple, Rick Stanton (Russell Todd) and Linda Stanton (Kerrie Emerson) plus singletons Fredy Meisel (Tony O Dell) and Alison Parks (Keli Maroney) who have been paired up.

The first two to die from the merciless machines being, Mike and Leslie…

It soon becomes a desperate battle to try and escape the mall that has locked down till the morning and as their numbers dwindle they have to somehow find a way of fighting back against the laser zapping robots…

Even though this movie is dated and there have been many robot type movies released since 1986, this still captures the terror that we human’s may yet have to feel… Well think about it, technology is becoming more and more advanced; how long before it creates a mind of its own? And how much do we rely on technology? It’s going to be a dark time for mankind if our beloved technology decides to rebel, remember there are missiles guided by technology, satellites guiding them, very frightening thought in deed…
