And so I continue my journey in to Indie horror with the purchase of this collection of movies, being Shallow Creek Cult, Family Secret, Rise of the Scarecrows and Evil Legacy. Four movies in which are so different to each other and quite authentic in their own right, movies as follows

Disc 1

Shallow Creek Cult,
Written and directed by King Jeff

Shallow Creek Cult found footage movie. The movie… Rumours circulating that shallow creek as a cult of cannibals and in this found footage that is recorded by brothers Getty, (Gorio) and Jessie Carmichael (King Jeff) it follows their sacred journey to scattering their grandpa’s ashes at shallow creek pond however they are soon documenting a terrifying battle for survival as they stumble across the cult, can they survive the night?

Family Secret,
Written and directed by Geno McGahee

Journalist Geno McGee, (Forris Day jr) is called unexpectedly and informed his wicked grandma has died and is therefore going to have to get together with his dysfunctional family for the wake, though all is not straight forward and Geno, is soon caught up in this murder mystery as members of his family begin to die, the finger begins to point at him, however rumours are that a killer granny is on the loose, it leads this movie to a super climax and interesting twist.

Disc 2

Rise of the Scarecrows,
Written and directed by Geno McGahee

Officer Brown, (Anthony Brown) hopes that a move to Adams town would be a fresh start for him, however he has more than he bargained for when he discovers an underlining problem within this secretive town in which has a dark and shameful past, the sheriff (Cedric Howard) tries to hide and deny any such problems, but people do keep going missing and dying.

Evil Legacy,
Directed by Manuel Eiras,

Evil Legacy, just like Shallow Creek, is also found footage movie, most of which is based upon a recording within a residential house where Sarah (Dani Faith Leonard) is hosting a dinner party for a selected few friends, the house though is filled with rare relics, in which her father (Buchanan Rouse) collects, one being a priceless relic of Ixtab, the goddess of suicide, a mysterious and powerful object that unleashes its terrifying power upon Sarah and her guest and it soon becomes a battle to survive
