Based on real reports from police archives “The Eleventh Aggression” is a study into human nature and how twisted people can be. It’s the story of former special service operative during the Vietnam War, Jeffrey Walters (Steve Furedy). Walters is not like the rest of us. When someone angers him he can’t let it roll of his back, he goes nutty and then proceeds to torture and kill these people. His anger is unstoppable and the bizarre way he punishes and kills his victims are quite disturbing. Right from the opening scene and the morbid way he murders a young girl you know you are in for a wild ride. Enter Detectives Davidson (Patrick Adam) and Garret (Lanny Rethaber). The two detectives are teamed up unwillingly to try to track down the killer before he kills again. As they struggle to find the serial killer they also battle their personal demons in their private lives. Walters marriage to his wife Alice (Amy Searcy) is on the rocks because of the case and Walters seems to be looking for love in all the wrong places. As they close in on the killer their own lives start to tailspin.

I must admit I was pretty surprised with this movie. It’s well written and has a very good cast of actors. Good pacing and an enthralling plot-line kept me interested and watching through the whole movie. Only occasionally did you realize you were watching an independent film as most of the acting was great. I must say I liked Lanny Rathaber (as detective Garret) performance best.

I have to give kudos to the special effects people. Everything was very realistic and looked fantastic, great camerawork. The audio was well recorded which is sometimes troublesome in many independent films. I did have a problem with some of the background sound that was added in during editing. It sometimes sounded like it was looping and really didn’t belong in the scene. An example is a scene shot outside in an alley and you here the murmur of people in a restaurant/bar. It really didn’t fit.

Overall I think this is a very good movie, well worth watching. If you would like to purchase a copy go here:
