On March 8th, ADVENTURE TIME: DISTANT LANDS comes to Blu-ray and DVD from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, bringing the Emmy-nominated animated show to the fans with all four specials.

ADVENTURE TIME: DISTANT LANDS brings all four one hour long episodes onto one release.  Produced by the Cartoon Network and releasing, originally, on HBO Max, this series continues the unique and edgy show that we’ve come to know.

The show mostly surrounds Finn (A human) and his best friend, Jake (A dog), as they do what the title implies…take adventures, where they meet a lot of unique characters along the way.  Characters like the robot “BMO” make a substantial appearance and bring a lot of humor to it and there is always an interesting conflict to be dealt with.

The four programs, BMO, OBSIDIAN, TOGETHER AGAIN and WIZARD CITY are fun and entertaining.  The appeal to this show is the mixture of good writing but mostly just the creativity and this world that has been created.  I’m not the right age bracket, sure, but my son, 17-years-old, digs this show a lot.  If I enjoyed it, I’m sure he really enjoyed it.

ADVENTURE TIME: DISTANT LANDS is a lot of fun. I recommend it.
