Britt Baker wasn’t happy after her defeat to Hikaru Shida in her post fight interview, noting that she was the “dirtiest wrestler” she ever faced. She plans to continue her path to the title despite the defeat.
We got more promotion for next week’s Jon Moxley – Jake Hager AEW heavyweight title match and they are selling so incredibly well. It feels as legitimate as a wrestling match can be.
Matt Hardy did a hilarious promo, calling Chris Jericho a “hole of an ass.” I could not stop laughing as Hardy described the entire Inner Circle. He suggested that Hager put bolts on his neck and called him “Jakenstein.” He challenged Jericho to a match at the Hardy Compound and that will be a great deal of fun.
Brodie Lee, the leader of the Dark Order, took on the unknown, Lee Johnson, and it was pure destruction. Brodie Lee is doing tremendously in this role. He is intimidating and great in the ring and easily beat Johnson with his spinning clothesline to get the 1-2-3.
