IBF Super Featherweight Champion, Tevin Farmer, 26-4-1, 6 KO’s, successfully defended his title against the game but outmatched challenger, James Tennyson, 22-3, 18 KO’s, by fifth round knockout in a one-sided outing.
From the opening bell, Farmer was able to use his superior skill to land his punches and avoid the incoming. There was little doubt as to who was going to win this outing. In the fourth round, Farmer landed a right hand to the body that put down Tennyson. In the fifth round, it would happen again and the referee had seen enough. A very impressive title defense for Farmer.
