It is on! The free PPV “Fyter Fest” from AEW. It is the first of two weeks of great action and Chris Jericho has jumped on commentary. He is the best heel commentator since Bobby Heenan. He comes out in grand fashion to fireworks and pyro and immediately insults Excalibur, calling him the “masked idiot.”
MJF and Wardlow come down to the ring, ready for some tag team action against Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus, the Jurassic Express. MJF grabs the microphone and starts talking about how he’s already beaten this team over and over again and this match is unnecessary.
Jungle Boy is tossed out of the ring and is picked up by Wardlow and driven into the steel ring post. MJF and Wardlow are dominating the action. A great reversal by Jungle Boy propels MJF into his partner’s foot, but the heels maintain control. Chris Jericho is hilarious. His commentary is priceless.
Luchasaurus finally gets in and starts cleaning house. He is using his martial arts to beat the hell out of Wardlow. The two big men exchange big moves and both are down. Jungle Boy gets in and uses high-flying moves to incapacitate MJF and then the giant dinosaur leaps over the ropes to the outside. Luchasaurus takes so many risks for his size. I hope he doesn’t get injured again.
A low blow by MJF gets a near fall on Luchasaurus. Wardlow jumps off the top rope and lands on him and Luchasaurus once again kicks out. MJF accidentally hits Wardlow with the ring and the Jurassic Express double-teams him over and over again to get the 3 count and upset win! Great match and it’s probably the end of the MJF-Wardlow partnership.
