Their universe is in danger! And the Winchester brothers continue on their journey to save the world as Warner Bros. Home Entertainment releases Supernatural: The Complete Thirteenth Season on Blu-ray and DVD on September 4, 2018. The set contains all 23 gripping episodes from Season Thirteen and is packed with over three hours of bonus content – with three all-new featurettes including the epic Making of Scoobynatural, audio commentaries, the show’s packed 2017 Comic-Con panel, deleted scenes and a priceless gag reel. Supernatural: The Complete Thirteenth Season is priced to own at $49.99 SRP on DVD and $54.97 SRP on Blu-ray including a Digital Copy. Supernatural: The Complete Thirteenth Season is also currently available to own on Digital via purchase from digital retailers.
I got the chance to check out the 13th season of the hit series SUPERNATURAL and it’s another showcase of good writing, storytelling and great cinematography. I enjoyed this much more than the 12th season as the pacing was quicker and it seemed much more focused.
With Crowley and Castiel dying in the 12th season, we get the addition of Jack to keep the series going and to pump in some new blood. Jack wasn’t forced in. The introduction of the character was done slowly and was added gradually enough to make it seem as though he’s been part of the show from jump. Jack adds to many of the scenes with Sam and Dean and there is plenty of chemistry and humor from episode to episode.
Another new character, Asmodeus, was introduced and proved to be a power player and was used in a way to keep a level of mystery throughout. We get to see the return of Gabriel and some major conflict between the two characters, leading to an interesting showdown.
The series flows very well from one episode to the next, leading to a very easy few nights of binge watching. The atmosphere and direction make it a great watch and the character development is quite good. I highly recommend this series. The series is available in just a couple days on September 4th.
