Quinton Randall, 7-0, 2 KO’s, had no issues controlling Jan Carlos Randall, 4-1, 4 KO’s, over the course of six rounds. Randall was able to time the one-dimensional brawler coming in and block all incoming punches. The pot-shotting from the outside was the story of the fight. This was just a mismatch. The skills of Randall were far too good for the southpaw brawler, Rivera, to solve.
The judges had it unanimous by scores of 59-55 and 58-56 (twice). It was an easy win for Randall.
