A couple of weeks ago, FTR, formerly known as “The Revival” in WWE, made their presence known and invaded the ring as The Butcher and The Blade were beating down the Young Bucks. For the last couple of years, the unhappiness of FTR in WWE was widely known and a twitter war between them and the Young Bucks all led up to this debut in AEW.
Considering that the first team that they beat down was the Butcher and the Blade, it’s no surprise that the first match they have in the company are against them. FTR is a classic tag team that would have been a Four Horseman-like duo. I suspect that Arn Anderson may eventually pick them up as his team and his unofficial relaunch of the Four Horseman.
Look for FTR to win this one. The Butcher and Blade hardly win.
