In the movie Rain Man Charlie Babbitt, who is played by Tom Cruise, discovers that his autistic brother Raymond, who is played by Dustin Hoffman, has a photographic memory when it comes to cards and so takes him to Vegas to try a little card counting at the blackjack tables.
On the beautifully photographed drive through the desert on the way to Sin City Charlie tries to explain the finer points of card counting to Raymond, such as don’t let people know that you are doing it. Once there Charlie sells his Rolex and with the money they get booted and suited ready to hit the casinos.
