We get a promo from PAC, which is great. It’s great to see him again. He’s one of the best in AEW and he starts focusing on Orange Cassidy. It’s a great promo.
Cassidy comes down to the ring, ready for his match with Rey Fenix. Fenix tries to ambush him, but Cassidy casually dodges the attack. Cassidy is so amuzing and Fenix is not appreciating the antics, as he attacks unsuccessfully.
Fenix gets some momentum going, landing an over the top leg drop to a near fall and then some submission moves to punish Cassidy. Both competitors are involved in the DOUBLE OR NOTHING ladder match and both are live dogs in that match.
Both Fenix and Cassidy are doing some great high-flying stuff. A huge DDT by Cassidy got a very near fall on Fenix. Cassidy would then land a DDT from the top rope and, once again, Fenix would kick out. What else does he need to do to win this thing?!
Fenix rebounds with a power bomb from the top rope and a near fall. This is a great match. Kip Sabian brings a ladder to the ring, climbing to the top, and sitting on it and watching the match. Fenix lands a low blow and diamond cutter to get the 1-2-3 on Cassidy, thanks in large part to the distraction from Sabian.
SCU comes down and push Sabian off the ladder. They come and check on Cassidy and we get a preview of the ladder match at double or nothing. Colt Cabana shows up to jump on the crowd, followed by the Best Friends. Fenix did a launch to the floor and landed hard on the cement. He may have hurt himself. It sure looked like it.
What chaos.
