Kris Statlander & Hikaru Shida VS Nyla Rose & Dr. Britt Baker: AEW Dynamite (5/20) RESULTS & REVIEW – Pro Wrestling News

Dr. Britt Baker is one of my favorite characters in pro wrestling.  She is such a great heel and I look forward to the day when they put the title on her.  Nyla Rose just needs to go away.   Hikaru Shida, the #1 contender and Kris Statlander is the opposition in this tag team match.  Shida will be going for the title against Rose this Saturday.

Statlander and Shida start quickly, beating down Rose as Baker elects not to participate.  She is so amusing.  Baker is an amazing heel.

Statlander begins to have a hard time with Rose, taking some big shots from the champion.  Baker doesn’t want any of Statlander and tries to avoid involvement, but Rose forces Baker to tag in.   Shida gets in and starts beating the champion and Baker.

Baker takes some serious abuse at the hands of Shida.  Statlander and Shida dump Rose’s fat ass right on Baker’s face.  That was a lot of ass.   Baker is able to make the tag and Rose is back in and starts putting the beating on Statlander, but she is able to pick up Rose and dump her down.

Baker has apparently hurt her right knee.  That has to be the Rose bump that led to that injury.  Let’s hope it’s not serious.

Rose lands the power bomb to get the1-2-3 count on her challenger this Saturday night, Shida.  Rose isn’t satisfied and brings in a table.  During this time, Baker is helped out of the ring with possible injuries to her knee and arm.  This sucks.  Baker is the best they have.  I hope she is OK.  The sloppy work of Rose has led to several injuries and this is another example.

Shida is able to land a suplex from the top rope and put Rose through a table.  I hope they put the title on Shida.
