Hikaru Shida FINALLY gets her title shot.  She’s also in near gear that looks great on her.  I saw today that some fat slob, jobless AEW guy said on social media today that we should not mention the appearance of female wrestlers…females being something that he’s never been next to.  Well, Shida is beautiful and her new gear compliments her very much.

Nyla starts off with the kendo stick and uses it on Shida, doing some damage early.   The smiling that Shida is known for is gone.  She is taking this match very seriously and is more intense than I’ve ever seen her.

Nyla puts Shida through a poker table and notes “always bet on black.”  It was a good spot.  This is a very dominant beginning for the champion and she is using tables and chairs to try to retain her title.

Shida avoids the beast bomb, reversing it, and uses her knees, including a running knee outside, launching the rotund champion into the large poker chips.  Come on Shida!

Rose rebounds and lands the big knee from the top rope and a powerslam, leading to a near fall.  Rose brings out a table and throws it in the ring.  She is looking to close the show.  She places the table against the corner.  The two struggle, trying to put each other through it with Rose landing the power bomb through it.  Shida barely kicks out.

The kendo stick is back and Rose is pummeling the challenger with it.    Shida rebounds and lands a power bomb from the top rope, nearly winning it.  Shida lands knee after knee to get the 1-2-3 to win the championship.  AWESOME.
