I have to say it. I love DAZN, but they have to get Sergio Mora off of the commentary. He’s terrible. He is a cheerleader for the DAZN fighters and just offers nothing. He is well beneath anything Showtime or ESPN has and it’s really bringing down the show.
Joshua Franco, 15-1-2, 7 KO’s, fought evenly, again, with Oscar Negrete, 18-2-2, 7 KO’s, as they had their third fight. This would make two draws out of their three fights and it’s doubtful that either man could do any better in another fight. This should be the end of their rivalry. The scorecards were 96-94 Franco, 96-94 Negrete and 95-95, making it a split draw. If either fighter stood out tonight, it was Negrete, but a draw isn’t out of the question. It was close fight.
Despite the DAZN commentary team comparing this to Gatti-Ward, this fight was rather dull and predictable is mere filler heading into the main event on this shitty card.
