Suge D, given the nickname “Pineapple Pete” by Chris Jericho, gets his shot at the former AEW champion. Jericho comes out to the ring with the entire Inner Circle, including poor Sammy Guevara. What courage by Guevara to come out to the ring with such injuries.
The Inner Circle is the best thing in all wrestling and Jericho wastes no time in getting rid of Pineapple Pete, landing the Judas Effect in quick fashion, getting the 1-2-3. He then does what he does best, grabbing the microphone and tearing down the Elite.
He announced the Stadium Stampede match at DOUBLE OR NOTHING. I’m not sure what this means, but it was accepted as Hardy’s drone, Vanguard One. Jericho destroyed Vanguard One with a baseball bat and that will not go over well with the Elite and especially Broken Matt Hardy.
Hardy comes down to the ring and finds Vanguard One destroyed. He collapses in despair. What a sad moment.
