I have to admit that I find it quite strange that people still subscribe to any religion and subject their children to it. Usually, it’s not harmful and the kid grows out of it when they’re smart enough to analyze it, but sometimes you just see these religious nuts so over the top that their madness turns into child abuse. In JESUS CAMP, we get a scary look into a group of insane Christians led by the overweight and repulsive, Becky Fischer.
Fischer is about as crazy as they come, but I’m not sure if she’s the craziest one in the house. Parents actually bring their children to the church and let this repulsive bully to push her insanity which includes demanding the death of Harry Potter and then forces the children to speak in tongues…which is just gibberish. All of the kids are so eager to please their parents that they play along. It’s really sad to see some of these children totally brainwashed by this nonsense.
We see a mother that homeschools her son and mocks science. She goes into why taking prayer out of school has led to all of the world’s problems and her poor son is forced to play along. Fischer then tells the devil that he will not interfere with the electricity because that’s what the devil likes to do, she contends.
The kids then are introduced to a guy that wants them to break coffee cups while screaming “Jesus” to stop corruption in the government. Take that devil. You will have no coffee anymore!
It is disgusting to see these kids put through this. Regular church is bad enough but this “Jesus warrior” idiocy is terribly heart-wrenching. The kids are in tears as the cow, Fischer, demands that they “make war” with non-Christians, and then screams “this means war.” She has apparently not declared war with Krispy Kreme.
A father of one of the children that is having a sleepover stops them from telling ghost stories because it does not glorify his imaginary friend. The kids apologize and start talking about Jesus again. They need to or the parents will get upset. I also like how they brought in a cardboard cutout of George Bush to pray for and then scream in unison: “One Nation Under God.” Whoa…and I used to wonder why there are so many fucked up people in this world.
A douche bag with “LIFE” sharpied on his shirt is then brought out and he looks like he walked right off of TO CATCH A PREDATOR. He then smiles at the kids and talks about their life path. He then goes into an anti-abortion rant and scares the children some more. All of the children have their mouths duct-taped and then talk about Jesus blood over America.
I don’t know if I could be more disgusted as these poor children are manipulated and brainwashed by these idiots. Shame on the parents of these kids that bring them to this nonsense. Becky Fischer then insists that the kids stay anti-abortion and to not become a promise-breaker.
JESUS CAMP is a great documentary about a huge group of complete idiots that are terrorizing poor children. As a father with two children, I cringed. Anyone that sends their children to something like this needs to have their heads examined and possibly have their children taken away. Becky Fischer, you can tell, is repulsive and needed to be powerful somehow. She found this group to do it in because any other way, she’d be nothing, outside of an eyesore.
I highly recommend JESUS CAMP. It was a great and disturbing watch.
