Have Mercy is pulling at heartstrings today with the new music video for “Dressed Down.” “This song is the most important on the record for me and I was so happy that my long time friend Dan was able to bring it to life,” shares Brian Swindle on working with Director Dan Schepleng. “‘Dressed Down’ is a song about self reflection and getting better. It was amazing to see how he interpreted it.” Fans can stream the new video today at smarturl.it/dresseddownvideo.

The fan-favorite track is the latest single from the Baltimore-based group’s album The Love Life, which was released via Hopeless Records earlier this year. Heralded as the band’s “most dynamic record to date” by New Noise MagazineThe Love Life explores the negative space in the bands music like never before.

Along with producer Matt Squire (Panic! At The Disco, The Maine), who oversaw the album’s three-week recording progress, the group spent time carving out room in the album’s 11 songs for each element of their sound-whether intricate guitar lines or Swindle’s visceral vocal performances-to take center stage or serve a complementary role, depending on the situation.

Fans can purchase and stream The Love Life today via Hopeless Records at smarturl.it/thelovelife.
