The main event of AEW Dynamite is next with the TNT champion, Cody Rhodes, taking on the challenger, Jungle Boy, in his first defense of the title. There is no better storyteller in the ring than Cody Rhodes and this match should be a real treat, considering just who is involved.
The match is very even as both men land their spots. Jungle Boy jumps over the ropes and knocks Rhodes down but goes to the well one too many times and gets caught the second time. Cody is being very aggressive, landing head butts. Jungle Boy avoids another head butt attempt and then has words with MJF.
Cody, after accidentally head butting the wall, is split wide open. Jungle Boy starts attacking the cut. Jungle Boy has the momentum and he is getting a lot of near falls. Cody rebounds and lands a superplex from the top rope.
Cody takes off his belt and goes for the figure four for a second time. Jungle Boy avoids it and the fight continues on the top rope. The two crash through a table from the top rope. This is a war and a great match!
The two get into the ring, Rhodes was able to land the Crossroads to get the 1-2-3 in a great match!
