Taz interviews Darby Allin. Taz offers help, but Darby doesn’t seem interested. Is Taz going to become a trainer or manager for the potential superstar? Next week, Brodie Lee is taking on Christopher Daniels and MJF will return. The Jurassic Express will take on the Best Friends next week as well. Lance Archer and Jake the Snake will be interviewed, a four way match with Hikaru Shida, Penelope Ford, Britt Baker and the Alien, and Chris Jericho will be in action as well. Next week looks like an awesome show.
Jericho and Guevara come down to the ring with Jake Hagar and as his song “Judas” plays, MJF sings it with enthusiasm and Britt Baker head bangs. You have to love the heels of AEW. They are so good. This is great 1980’s approach to the good guy/bad guy characters. AEW keeps hitting it out of the park with every show. It’s only a matter of time before they take over as the top promotion.
Kenny Omega enters next. He looks ready for war. Next was Broken Matt Hardy and I’ve been waiting for this since he left IMPACT. He immediately starts biting the fingers of Sammy Guevara. Jericho and Hardy begin fighting into the backstage, but Jericho found his way back and bringing in a temporary 2 on 1 match.
With Omega down, “Le Sex Gods” did their hilarious pose and then went back to business as Hardy is still MIA. Where is the Broken one?! Remarkably, Hardy returns in new gear…his Hardy Boys gear. He hit the Twist of Fate, but Jericho was too close to the ropes. Le Sex Gods took back control with the help of a baseball bat, but Hardy rebounds and lands the Twist of Fate on Guevara.
Hardy introduces a ladder as Omega brings in tables. We are getting some classic TLC here! Broken Matt Hardy is so good. It is so awesome to see him back. A jump off the ladder, through a table onto Guevara leads to a near 3 count, interrupted by Hager from the outside. Maybe we will get a Hager-Omega match at Double or Nothing.
The fight continues through the arena and Hardy and Jericho are beating the hell out of each other. Hardy is thrown into a freezer. Omega saves him with a trash can, smashing Jericho and Hager with it. Guevara emerges and attacks Omega. This is now a 3 on 2 match with Hager being the difference.
Omega lands a great powerbomb into a steel garage door and then lands a flying knee on Hager. This is great stuff!!! Where is Hardy?! Is the Broken one coming back as another version? Jericho and Omega are brawling it out in a violent encounter. Jericho puts a cone on his head and does a witch laugh. So fucking funny. Love Jericho!
Hardy emerged from the ice and jumped into a golf cart and runs over Jericho. This is hilarious stuff. They chase down and run over Guevara. This is getting better by the minute. Omega gets into a scissor lift and jumped off, landing on Hardy, Jericho and Hager.
Santana and Ortiz attack. The Inner Circle is now all there against 2 men. They plant Hardy through a table with a powerbomb. A powerbomb for Omega on top of the gold cart followed. The numbers are too much for Hardy and Omega. The Judas effect lands on Omega, leading to 1-2-3. What a Dynamite episode!!!!!!
