On September 29th, one of the best horror collections is hitting the market from Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. BLUMHOUSE OF HORRORS: 10-MOVIE COLLECTION brings forth must haves for the Halloween season and a set that is sure to make you the most popular person in town if you are showing this at your Halloween party.
The set features the films that hit the box office hard and made their mark in the horror community. GET OUT, THE PURGE, OUIJA, SPLIT, THE VISIT, UNFRIENDED, TRUTH OR DARE, THE BOY NEXT DOOR, HAPPY DEATH DAY and MA make up this set and it’s not a bad idea to let the horror marathon begin.
In GET OUT, we get a modern day take on the STEPFORD WIVES with a racial relations twist. THE PURGE has led to many sequels and has gained even more steam with the current social conditions in the country. THE VISIT and SPLIT are entries from THE SIXTH SENSE director, M. Night Shyamalan, that resurrected his career and proved that he still belongs in the horror genre.
HAPPY DEATH DAY is GROUNDHOG’S DAY if it was made for the horror fans with a repeating day and a mystery that must be solved. MA is another tremendous addition to this set with a damaged woman finding joy in the company of some teens that goes south when they remove her from the group.
This collection is a must own for any horror fan or anyone that wants to celebrate Halloween the right way. It gets released on 9/29 and there are so many great films and extras. I can’t recommend this one enough.
