On September 29th, a great set of critically acclaimed films will be released in one set. FOCUS FEATURES 10-MOVIE SPOTLIGHT COLLECTION brings a great day laughs and drama to your living room in a set that features tons of extras and a great presentation.
The collection consists of LOST IN TRANSLATION with Bill Murray and Scarlett Johansson, ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND with Jim Carrey and Kate Winslet, PRIDE & PREJUDICE and ATONEMENT with Keira Knightly, BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN with Heath Ledger and Jake Gyllenhaal, BURN AFTER READING with Brad Pitt and George Clooney, MOONRISE KINGDOM with Ed Norton and Bruce Willis, THE THEORY OF EVERYTHING, ON THE BASIS OF SEX and HARRIET.
There hasn’t been many sets that include such star power. The collection of films are not box office mainstream sort of films. These are high quality artistically-driven films that were made because the filmmaker’s heart was in it along with the cast. You see it when you watch these and they all present a unique and great experience.
One of my favorites in the set is ETERNAL SUNSHINE OF THE SPOTLESS MIND. Up to this point, Jim Carrey was known primarily for his goofy comedy films. He stepped away from that to show his amazing dramatic ability in this great film. You can’t go wrong with Bill Murray either with the great film LOST IN TRANSLATION that constantly gains traction as a much see out of his film catalogue.
Known primarily for the Joker role in THE DARK KNIGHT, Heath Ledger first made his presence known in BROKEBACK MOUNTAIN, which became a big hit and continues to be referenced to this day.
FOCUS FEATURES 10-MOVIE SPOTLIGHT COLLECTION is a great film collection, available tomorrow on Blu-ray in a set that proves to be a good lineup for a Sunday. You can put your feet up, pop some popcorn and enjoy the variety and quality in this collection. I can’t recommend it enough.
