You have a chance to be part of history by assisting Dark Regions Press release their latest horror creation Black Labyrinth Book II. They have launched an immensely successful Kickstarter campaign with a goal of $25,000. Now, only three days away from the end of the campaign they have raised incredibly impressive $23,429. The goal is within sight and there’s only a short time to jump on the bandwagon and obtain one of the several gifts for donating.
“What is Black Labyrinth Book II“ you may ask. It is an is an imprint of ten psychological horror novels and novellas from the living masters of horror and dark fiction. The titles within the Black Labyrinth imprint are primarily connected by their genre: psychological horror, but also by their intensity, complexity in character and creative vision.
Psychological horror is a genre that focuses on tension and conflict of the mind. Stories that examine the deterioration of a psyche, the battle of an intellect to overcome the horrors within. All are beautifully illustrated by surrealist artist Santiago Caruso. The first book in the imprint, The Walls of the Castle by Tom Piccirilli has been met with wide critical acclaim and the hardcovers are considered some of the finest that Dark Regions Press has produced. The new Kickstarter campaign will fully fund a new novella of psychological horror from award-winning author Joe. R Lansdale of Edge of Dark Water, the Hap and Leonard series, Bubba Ho-Tep, The Thicket, Incident On and Off a Mountain Road and many other novels, novellas, short stories, comic books and screenplays.
The campaign will also bring five original pieces of artwork from renowned surrealist artist Santiago Caruso to accompany the novella, including four B&W interior illustrations.
Black Labyrinth Book II: Joe R. Lansdale is slated for publication on November 11th 2014, but will be delivered to Kickstarter contributors at least one month before the publication date.
