ALL-STAR SUPERMAN – Now on 4K Ultra HD & Blu-Ray – Review

When it comes to superheroes, not many have had the impact of Superman.  From comic books to film to television series and cartoons, the Man of Steel has been covered and done well.  Now, ALL-STAR SUPERMAN has made its way on 4K Ultra HD & Blu-Ray from Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment for the very first time.

The familiar war is on in this film as Lex Luthor takes on Superman but the stakes are very different.  Superman gets poisoned by the sun and is dying, allowing Luthor to have control and use his power. Superman’s internal conflict and need to save the planet collide along with his goal of feeling more human and sharing secrets that he’s held deep down.

Like many DC movies, there is a lot of focus on very human emotions and it’s very welcome here.  There have been Superman entries in the past that make him without emotion for the most part, but not here.   It is done very well and the pain that he goes through is put across incredibly well.

The 4K presentation is amazing with the art and voiceover making this a must watch for any Superman fan.  This might just be the best Superman movie I have seen and the storyline is incredibly interesting and satisfying.  I highly recommend it.
