Alien from AREA 51 (2012) – UFOs, Aliens & More – MOVIE REVIEW

I’ve loved Aliens since I met my first one. Well I never really met him. His name was “The Great Gazoo”. You know him if you’ve ever watched “The Flintstones” cartoons on TV. He was a green comedic genius. Sure, he was a boring alien compared to today’s space travelers, but he is just as imaginary….errr…..I mean real. What I mean by boring I guess is “less kinky”. He wasn’t into anal probes and such. He just enjoyed busting Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble with his quick wit and satire. The Great Gazoo allowed you to laugh your butt off without any kind of anal penetration.

Let’s talk about the movie. In the 1940’s it is said that an spacecraft crashed in Roswell New Mexico and that the government found the bodies of aliens in it. The US government, as you might imagine, denies this. Area 51, as it is called is now one of the biggest attractions to some of the strangest creatures on Earth since these strange creatures from another world crashed into Earth. OK, I don’t mean to say UFO hunters are strange creatures but, well, they sort of are strange. In a good way. OK, some are kind of creepy. It is said that United States Government doctors performed autopsies on the odd beings (not the UFO hunters, but rather the aliens in the spacecraft) and that they filmed it, but no one had ever seen these movies….until NOW! Yes, would you believe the video has been found and now you can watch it! I will never understand why people are so fascinated with beings that have all the room in the galaxy to drive and still smash into our small planet Earth. Are they really more intelligent? I argue that they aren’t more intelligent AND they are just as bad at driving, albeit a spaceship.

“Alien from Area 51” documents the history of the crash and slowly works its way up to the actual autopsy footage. It tends to use the same images over and over again so it gets a bit boring on the video side but the audio commentary is quite interesting. If you love aliens and conspiracy theory stories then this is for you. A well done movie that will teach you a bit of history of Area 51 and wrap up with the actual alien autopsy. But is it real? Only you can be the judge.

Rating: 7.5/10 – … “Were gonna need a bigger spaceship”…
