Kenny Omega is on commentary as Hangman Page comes out to take on Frankie Kazarian. Omega notes that he has no interest in reuniting with his old partner and his focus is on the singles division.
The match is immediately great with Page and Kazarian showing their skill. Page is one of the best in AEW, mixing power moves and high-flying moves. Kazarian is starting to feel the pressure and Page is owning the action as we get into the match.
It is going back and forth as both men are landing the same moves. Page finally gets the edge back with a massive clothesline. He follows up with a fall away slam.
Kazarian got a near fall with his finisher. Omega got some joy from it, apparently. Page regroups and rebounds and lands a Death Valley Driver for a near fall. Kazarian counters with a Diamond Cutter for a 2 count. This is a great match.
Page lands the Buckshot Lariat for the 3 count in a very tough match. Omega quickly exits the commentary booth and goes to the back stage. There is something going on with the Elite. A feud between Omega and Page should be happening soon.
