Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein ABC Program Review

Jeffrey Epstein didn’t kill himself.  There, got that out of the way.   The “suicide” has been the great controversy and rightfully so. Considering the dirt he has on guys like Billy Clinton, Prince Andrew, Woody Allen, Kevin Spacey and so many more, it’s not shocking that he ended up with a toe tag on his foot.  ABC has come forward with their program that they called “Truth and Lies” and it’s good, BUT they sure do gloss over the Clintons.

A lot of victims come forward and expose the machine and how it worked.  Epstein would find a young girl to recruit other young girls from high school and would then proceed to sexually assault them.  Being a billionaire, he felt untouchable and the machine just kept moving forward.  An investigation would produce enough evidence to put Epstein under the prison, but a backroom deal would give him 18 months where he could come and go as he pleased.

Time passed and Epstein moved to his island and that’s where anything went and he and his friends in Hollywood and politics would do things that should put them all in prison, but they considered themselves untouchable, which they appear to be, but Epstein wasn’t.

Epstein would be arrested again and he wouldn’t get away this time.  The victims were ready to confront him, but he was given the “suicide” treatment and dead men tell no tales.  It is a shame the way the story ended.  Epstein seemed ready to turn over on all the rich and powerful guys and gals that took advantage of his island and the underage girls and boys that were shipped over.  That has not happened and will not happen, but the victims at least can find some joy that this scumbag was taken out.

ABC’s program was very good, but it didn’t go deep enough.  The list of powerful people going to his island was blurred out.  The focus was entirely on Epstein, but there’s a lot more to the story.  I would have liked to see a program where they didn’t hold back, called all of these slimeballs out, but this is ABC and I have to take what I can get.  I still recommend it, but it could have been much better.
