The AEW world title eliminator tournament starts off the show with Wardlow taking on Jungle Boy of Jurassic Express. Wardlow is a star in the making and so is Jungle Boy. I’m a broken record, but they need to lose Marko Stunt. He is sending Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus into jobber territory.
The power of Warlow is dictating the match. He is tossing Jungle Boy around easily. AEW has a lot of great big guys and Wardlow is one of the best they have. After a few power bombs, Wardlow got a near fall and is trying very hard to finish the match early. Jungle Boy is having a very hard time getting any momentum going.
Wardlow lands an amazing clothesline for another near fall. Finally, Jungle Boy lands a knee strike and lands a missile dropkick to launch Wardlow out of the ring. Jungle Boy is doing everything to try to win this thing, but he’s got a tough draw with one of the favorites, Wardlow.
Jungle Boy survived the initial storm and is now dominating the big guy. This is a great match! An exhausted Wardlow lands the F-10, but he’s too tired to cover him. He lands another F-10 for the 3 count. Wardlow advances in impressive fashion. With Hangman Page and Kenny Omega seen as the favorites, Wardlow is the wildcard. He could shock the tournament.
