Tru Tv: World’s Dumbest Criminals

For the last two hours, I have been falling in and out of sleep on the couch.  Far too lazy to change the channel, I am punishing myself as Tru TV’s: World’s Dumbest Criminal is on.

Essentially, videos of lowlifes who make obvious mistakes are shown and other famous lowlifes comment on it.   Wife beater and waste of space, Danny Bonadouchebag is one of the idiots.  I swear the only person more annoying than him is Andy Dick – and not by much.

White trash ice skater Tonya Harding is another.  Drug addict loser Leif Garrett makes unfunny remarks throughout. “Comedian” (using that term very loosely) Judy Gold makes less funny comments than “recovered”Garrett.

Lastly and someone who doesn’t belong on the show is Todd Bridges!  Bridges actually has talent.  He hasn’t been into drugs in ions and he’s always been a great actor.   I would love to see him make another full-fledge go at this profession.  I think he would be best placed in dramas or even modern horror roles.  I could easily see him as a father of a young child.  He would be a well-placed fit in Patrick Wilson’s role as the worried doting father in Insidious.  Bridges has a very straight-laced truthfulness about him that if placed in the right role could make for some of the most powerful acting set forth.  Picture him as E.K. Hornbeck in Inherit the Wind or Juror #5 in 12 Angry Men.  He has such a talent and really deserves more than what he is getting.  I don’t know if he needs a new agent but surely there must be someone ready to give him a second chance – this time showing his work on the big screen!

That said, Bridges really is the only saving grace.

I remember a few years ago there was this show Best Week Ever. That actually had some really funny comedians on it.  It discussed current events (usually entertainment related) in nearly the same format but was really funny.  This is just trash.

Overall Rating:  1/10

Todd Bridges 8/10

Give Todd Bridges either (A) his own show or (B) a big role in a major film

The ‘Ventur’n of Arino Bun-Bun and Other Ramblings

By Melissa Garza Arino Bun-Bun Garza is my bunny.  I got him last Sunday.  I wasn’t planning on getting a rabbit but sometimes fate intervenes. It all started when my mom rescued a bunny from a cat on the prowl.  It was very tiny and sadly died the next day. […]
