Cody Rhodes, fresh of his TNT title-winning win over Lance Archer, will sit on the sidelines and watch as a battle royal takes place with the winner getting the first crack as the new belt. No participants have been named, but the roster is packed with a lot of wrestlers that aren’t ready for a world title shot, but would do well to go for the TNT title.
Expect Shawn Spears, Lance Archer, Wardlow, MJF, Darby Allin, Orange Cassidy, Scorpio Sky, Brodie Lee, Broken Matt Hardy and a lot more involved in this. I would love to see Broken Matt go for the title, but Cody won’t lose it any time soon. Let’s see how this one goes. It should be a lot of fun.
