The Addams Family is one of my favorite TV shows of all time. I adore everything about it. It was an intelligent show that continues to crack me up whenever I watch it. When I saw that a porn parody was released, I just had to buy it.
The film can be watched either in black & white or in color. I opted for the b&w to keep it true to the original…as true as a porn parody can be. It opens as Morticia (India Summer) knits while Puglsey (Seth Gamble) and Wednesday (Brandy Aniston) fight over checkers. The two are now 18 and are accepted to Gomez’s (Evan Stone) alma mater which makes him extremely happy but also worrisome over their children. They decide to have “the talk” with both of them since they’ll be meeting a lot of people. Morticia brings Thing to “help” Morticia with the talk and Gomez gets Pugsley a prostitute.
Meanwhile, Pugsley and Wednesday play tricks on Lurch (Dick Chibbles) making his testicles itch.
Mama (Nina Hartley) figures the only way to eliminate the itching is through oral sex. It isn’t conventional sure –but none of The Addams Family methods were.
Uncle Fester (Barry Scott) makes his presence known announcing he’s working on a pleasure chair. He is also awaiting an inflatable girlfriend but instead gets an inflatable sheep.
If watching for the sex scenes, one will not be disappointed. If watching for a send-up of The Addams Family they may. Now, that said – I’m a diehard fan of the show. I was disappointed in Angelica Husten’s portrayal of Morticia. India Summer just doesn’t capture the fun side of Morticia. It’s understandable that she has much to do. When she’s not masturbating to real-life flowers giving head, she’s sexing it up with Gomez. Still, I wanted to see her endearing side.
Evan Stone is always fun and he did well in the role as Gomez. I still prefer John Astin, of course. Then, the storyline just wasn’t there. It was just a serious of random scenes leading up to sex….which is great for a traditional XXX film. Porn parodies are great because they give the hot and heavy with a sense of real-TV as well. Not to mention, the actors and actresses are able to show what talent they have both in and out of the sex scenes.
This particular parody with few exceptions was just missing the humor of the others I’ve seen. Again, if you’re looking for something other than a traditional porn and its entirely for the sex scenes, this will suit your need.
On a side note, I’m awaiting The Avengers XXX: A Porn Parody which looks hilarious and is done by the very talented Axel Braun. I’m sure that will more than meet my expectations as Braun really puts 110% in.
