Superman is one of the most popular superheroes of all time, appearing in every medium from comic books, to cartoons, to live action moves to television. The interesting takes on the character keeps it fresh and that is the case with SUPERMAN & LOIS: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON, which was just released on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
Despite the restrictions that television can sometimes have, this show gets beyond it and presents something very cinematic and has a lot of focus on character development, which makes the show. Every character involved, good or bad, has motives to their actions and you can understand where they are coming from. They are not good to be good or bad to be bad.
The cast is very good and the cinematography is done incredibly well. This stands alongside the other adaptations of Superman but stands along due to its approach and slight variances to the characters and story. It’s really enjoyable.
