Succession: The Complete Series – NOW ON DVD – Review

Logan is a successful business man with plans to retire and leave his position to his son, Kendall, but things don’t go as expected.   Logan isn’t very happy with his son and decides to cancel his retirement and see how things play out, leading to a family feud over the spot and the money and power that comes with it.

The family and surrounding people all have their motivations for chasing the CEO position and for not in some cases.  It’s big stakes in New York City and Logan cannot decide what to do until he has a stroke and Kendall gets his shot in that position.

Things get worse as the stocks drop and Logan’s daughter works with a politician that made a career of destroying huge corporations.  The infighting gets worse and worse and there are some twists and turns here that are very interesting.

This is binge-worthy series that mixes family dysfunction, wealth, politics and much more in this hit HBO show.  I was very impressed with the presentation.  Some are complaining that the show got a DVD release rather than a Blu-ray, but it looked great on my 60 inch TV and it’s very easy to fall into the storylines as the episodes fly by.

Warner Bros. Discovery Home Entertainment has released this great set, featuring 39 episodes and some great bonus material.  There’s so much to like about this show and the release.  The packaging is great, making it a collector’s item for anyone that enjoyed this series.  The quality that HBO has been known for in their productions is on display here once again.  I recommend this.
