Tampa Florida’s Showtown American Pictures have announced their next endeavor into the horror genre by partnering with producers Mario Cerrito III (Human Hibachi 1 & 2), John DiRenzo (The Listing, Chase Street), and Michael Joy (Manager of Horrornews.net, Owner of Marketing Macabre) to make the feature film, The House In The Pines.

Somewhere deep in the woods in the Pine Barrons of New Jersey sits a house surrounded by evil. A group of high school friends set out on a fun-filled vacation only to watch their adventure become a hellish nightmare. They quickly find out there is no escape from The House In The Pines.

At the helm of the creative is director Mick Strawn, who has worked on A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 – The Dream Master, Candyman, Blade, Leatherface – Texas Chainsaw Massacre III, and Tales from the Darkside. He’s working with the talented FX master, Nick Benson, who is responsible for the special effects in Tremors, The Blob, The Howling IV – The Original Nightmare, Bride of Re-Animator, A Nightmare on Elm Street 4 – The Dream Master and so much more.

This wicked team will transport you back in time to create a memory worthy of 1980’s horror nostalgia but with twists and turns years ahead of its time.  Filming anticipated to start late 2022 in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
