I just found out that the amazing Sherman Hemsley has died. He was such a great actor. The character George Jefferson will live on forever. For a man so kind and sweet to portray such an egomaniac shows the extent of his ability. More so, the fact that he could keep George so lovable despite his arrogance.
The police have stated that the cause of death is unknown however no one believes he was a victim of foul play.
My thoughts are with his family and friends. May he rest in peace and continue to bring happiness and joy to whatever realm lies ahead.
