‘All Aboard! All Aboard! The train is about to leave the station, hurry now you don’t want to miss it….’

Well as regards the train within this movie, just perhaps you would have been reluctant to buy a ticket, however, sit back, relax and brace yourself for terror, as Scary Tales, makes it’s one, ‘Last Stop’

Four people find themselves in the lobby of a railway station there is Douglas, (Chris Geoffrion) a stroppy self-centred businessman, Lacy, (Xoe Rose) a free thinker and spirit that just happens to be down on her luck, Then there is school teacher, Janice, (LeeAnn Aubuchon-Swimm) with a long career in education and finally, aspiring writer, Mike, (Julian Lowenthal).

They all seem an unlikely bunch of guys to get along together, however they all have one thing in common, well for now anyway, and that is they have all recently had a vivid nightmare, and do have time to share, after the creepy ticket clerk, (Ray Surprenant) informs them there is a delay to their journey due to tragedy, the four then decide to share their vivid nightmares.

Janice is the first to share her story…

Being a teacher leaves very little time for a social life, therefore Janice decides like many to try internet dating…

Her date, Bob, (Pete Baez) seems a decent sort of guy and makes a good impression however there is more than meets the eye with Bob, as Janice discovers when she is invited to his house. Bob it seems happens to have an unhealthy relationship with a controlling mother, and it isn’t too long before Janice finds herself in serious bother…

Lacy is the next…

Being down on your luck is no fun especially when you have nobody to turn to and being harassed by anyone and everyone, especially a store owner, (Alex Pierpaoli) who does not like the likes of Lacy sitting outside of his store.

Lacy seeks solace in a coffee shop where she is befriended by a charming, young man named Jason, (Logan Lopez). Lacy, soon finds herself caught up in, ‘The New World Order,’ a radicalised religious group that believe in extreme methods when it comes to judgement on people’s morals and behaviour, Lacy finding herself caught in the middle of a murderous bunch but can she make it out alive?

Mike is the next to speak,

He has been struggling for a while to write the next big American novel, the smash hit, so therefore takes a little break from his writing and takes up an offer earn a little income, he is to help out his father’s, boss, Nate, (Ed Reed III) just simply as to house watch his Cabin in which Nate’s 15yr old Daughter, Crystal, (Avery Nodland) is in residence and to make sure she behaves as she has been grounded. Though he is warned of her crazy mother and as the story progresses, a Sasquatch appears, however these are the least of his worries, as those that are the closes can be the most menacing as he discovers.

Finally the last story is told, Douglas, the sort of nightmare he has had…

Disgruntled Doug, is finding life difficult since he had been made redundant from his previous employer…

He does though have an interview and tries hard to make an impression, His interviewer and possible employer is impressed with Doug’s CV, however youth is more important than age and experience, however he is thrown a lifeline, an experimental project as, a data manager for $28 an hour… Doug takes the job of course, as it seems a dream job, and works alongside a young Lance, (Jacob Moon) and it isn’t too long before Doug, discovers what the project is truly about… A game of death begins for Doug and Lance…

As the four digest their stories, the creepy ticket clerk returns with more news, yes one last twist in this tight, dark story…

It leaves me to say, this is another great anthology from Geno and the team at Xposse productions and without doubt will do extremely well at the festivals, do check it out…
