Scared Stiff Says Goodbye to Tim Pieciak

In 2008, I had the good fortune to meet up with Tim Pieciak, as I prepared to film FAMILY SECRET. The audition that he gave immediately placed him in a major role in the film and guaranteed him a home at X Posse Productions in the future. Tim’s positive energy, love of life, and playful spirit made filming much easier. I remember a time when we were filming one of our longest scenes, a 13 or 14 hour day, and we were all beat and tired and he broke out his guitar and played some music, singing several 1980’s tunes, cheering up the group and lifting our spirits.

Tim would move on to SCARY TALES, my next flick, and steal the show with his amazing performance. When he fell ill, Tim remained positive, fought bravely, and spent most of his time trying to cheer everyone else up around him. Tim will be greatly missed. He was one of the best actors I have ever had the pleasure to work with, one of the greatest people I’ve crossed paths with, and my condolences are with his family. His X Posse family will miss him.

RIP Tim Pieciak.

  1. Dear Tim, Although I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and seeing you only a few times, you made a huge impression on me.

You were always cheerful and positive and I will always remember you as such. You had so much talent and you made use of it.

It was a pleasure my friend.

    RIP from Martin

  2. This is really touching and a wonderful thing for my eyes to read. Tim was my dad and though its extremely hard to adjust to him not being around anymore, it gives me peace seeing and knowing how much he touched so many people. I also know how much he cared for you all and LOVED filming these movies with you.

    1. thank you for your comments Jessikah. Your dad was great and I’m glad he enjoyed filming with me. He is very missed.
