So the second in the film franchise, Resident Evil… Alice (Milla Jovovich) finds herself awakening in a deserted room and soon discovers she has super human strength, in which she needs in this heart pounding sequel…

Racoon City is being overrun, even though the soldiers of the Umbrella Corporation, and a unit named S.T.A.R.S. (Special Tactics And Rescue Squad) are putting up a very brave and courageous fight, against the armies of zombies, though that soon becomes an hopeless task.

Meanwhile the evacuation is on, top scientists including the creator of the T Virus, Dr Charles Ashford (Jared Harris) are to be evacuated out of the city, however, Dr Ashford, refuses as his daughter, Angela Ashford (Sophie Vavasseur) is somewhere within the city, having been involved in a accident while being transported. He uses the CCTV to track down where is daughter is possible hiding, then contacts, Alice, he offers her a way out of the city, if she rescues his daughter, stating it is the only way out of there before the city is to be destroyed…

The Umbrella Corporation decide to unleash their star pupil, to clean up the city, Nemesis (Mathew G Taylor) what seems invincible mutation that destroys everything and anything that threatens to get in its path…

Alice manages to rescue Angela, from a zombie infested school, though soon as a showdown with Nemesis.

Alice manages to escape and along with her friends, Jill Valentine (Sienna Guillory), Terri Morales (Sandrine Holt), Lloyd Jefferson (Mike Epps) and Carlos Olivera (Oded Fehr) and of course Angela, they head for the escape destination, however on reaching there, Dr Ashford has been taken hostage, Alice is forced to fight, Nemesis to the death, but will she, as she realises they are familiar with each other…

Alice though manages to escape the city along with her friend’s, however the helicopter crashes… Alice is then found badly burned by the Umbrella Corporation that take her back to their facilities…

One of my favourite scenes in this movie is in the Grave yard as Alice and her friends walk through and the zombie’s begin to pop out of the ground.

And may I say at this stage, I apologise for my review of the first instalment where I stated the Umbrella Corporation as, Cooperation…

Another breath taking instalment of Resident Evil…
