With a 9-10 record, Joey Janela is the big underdog in this match with the former champion, Chris Jericho. Jericho comes to the ring with Jake Hager at his side. You can’t get better than this. It’s great to see the Librarian rocking out to Judas.
Orange Cassidy comes down to the ring with a backpack over his shoulder to watch the match. He has answered the call from Jake Hager. Jericho is sporting a Cassidy T shirt. The Jericho-Cassidy feud is great.
Jericho goes right at Janela and is beating him down immediately. This is a brutal beat down so far but Janela fights back. It doesn’t last long. Jericho is very focused on this match and wants Cassidy to see Janela get humiliated.
Jericho easily wins with the Lion Tamer and Jericho continues the beat down. This was the most dominant match that Jericho has had in some time. Janela gets his head smashed against the exposed turnbuckle. What a brutal assault here. Janela is busted open.
Cassidy runs into the ring and we have a 2 on one. Hager and Jericho are beating down Cassidy. Sonny Kiss comes down and gets hammered. Cassidy lands a DDT on Jericho. Hager pulls Jericho to safety and now we find out what’s in the bag. It’s a bottle of the bubbly. He dumps it and gives it a thumbs down.
