Welterweight Reshat Mati, 6-0, 4 KO’s, looked very impressive with a first round knockout over Rakim Johnson, 6-9-1, 5 KO’s. A left hook to the body put Johnson down hard, early in the first round. He got up but was put back down again, immediately. He got up and complained about being hit behind the head.
Two more knockdowns would follow and the referee called it. Mati looked great, but the competition was less than stellar.
