This is Dash Jordan here with some breaking news. Only during the month of October could you hear news this insane. Just a few hours ago, the official teaser trailer for ‘Pride & Prejudice & Zombies’ has been released…No, I’m not making this up.

‘Pride & Prejudice & Zombies’ is an upcoming Horror-Comedy based on the 2009 parody novel of the same name. The novel was written by Seth Grahame-Smith who also wrote ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’. I swear to God, these stores are real! When I first of these novels I initially thought it was all a joke and the book covers were just fan-art. Until I saw the actual novels AND the 2012 film adaptation of ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ which opened to mixed reviews and is slowly gaining cult status.
In fact, the books themselves have a very significant cult following. So I could understand why they would want to make a movie and it is quite possible that it might make for a very successful Horror-Comedy, just as long as they learn from the mistakes make from ‘Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter’ and not take its premise too seriously.
Other than that, I actually welcome ‘Pride & Prejudice & Zombies’ when it finally come out on February 2016. Oh, and I can assure you that my acceptance for this movie’s release has nothing to do with the casting of one of my favorite new actors who also just so happens to be my first Doctor and is finally making a name for himself outside of ‘Doctor Who’…
