Why is this the main event? Has the Butcher and Blade ever pulled through? Is there any drama here? I love Allie and her hubby was good in Impact, but this act is very dull and without direction. There is no question that Pac and Fenix are winning tonight.
I wonder if the Butcher goes home and cries about his AEW work. They never win and why is Pac a face now? He’s a much better heel, but I could see him going head to head with the Inner Circle. I don’t get the unity with the Lucha Bros. Pac seems like a better loner.
There’s just no drama here and it’s very hard to get into this match. This is not the way to end a Dynamite episode. They could have ended with Shida winning and her next challenger coming out and scaring her. His match seems like pure filler.
Eddie Kingston runs down and trips up Fenix and SHOCKINGLY, they finally won! The Butcher and the Blade won. It’s like Clark Griswold in Vegas Vacation rejoicing “I didn’t lose.”
For some reason, Lance Archer is now involved. I hope they don’t turn him face.
