SUPERGIRL: THE COMPLETE FOURTH SEASON is hitting Blu-Ray and DVD on 9/17, releasing from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment, and it is easily one of the best seasons in the series, hitting hard and starting a new and fun storyline with Ben Lockwood (Sam Witwer) seeks revenge after a family tragedy and focuses on the aliens on earth as the targets.
The battle between Supergirl (Melissa Benoist) and Lockwood continues throughout season four and we see an assist from Arrow, Flash and Superman as the battle continues. What makes the storyline so interesting are the motives of Lockwood, which leads to some great showdowns and some twists and turns.
The show moves at a great pace, one episode into the next, and it’s just done really well. The characters are well-defined and it is shot incredibly well. Much like ARROW and THE FLASH, this show focuses on character development and strong story-telling while staying true to the source material. I really enjoyed season four.
