Jon Moxley, the AEW champ, has some words for his challenger on 12/5, Kenny Omega. He tells a story about his dad telling him that “we’re the good guys.” Moxley is a great face but Omega might be the guy to finally take it away. He most likely will take the belt.
Orange Cassidy comes to the ring with The Best Friends, ready to take on Kip Sabian, who comes to the ring with Penlope Ford and Miro on commentary. The Best Friends are sent back by Cassidy. Penelope Ford has an even darker look this week, which looks great.
Sabian is doing a good job of controlling the early action and not playing into Cassidy’s game. Cassidy will have to get serious in this one to come out on top. Cassidy outside the ring was being held back by Ford, holding up her hands and he gave her a double high five. It was hilarious. This is why Cassidy is popular. He is one of a kind and funny as hell.
Cassidy is landing his big moves to get some near falls. Miro is screaming for his friend to rebound. A huge diving DDT from the top rope got a near fall for Cassidy. Sabian rebounds and came very close to get the pin fall victory.
Cassidy gets the Mousetrap to get the pin fall win. Miro levels Cassidy with a clothesline from hell. It was devastating.
