The DC Universe is vast and interesting and so is the series NAOMI, which has just been released on Blu-Ray and DVD, featuring all 13 episodes and some cool extras from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
The presentation on Blu-ray is great and the story is uplifting and interesting. Based on a comic book series, NAOMI, brings something different to a superhero series. She is a Superman fan and is rather nerdy in her interests. The show focuses on fitting in and being different as Naomi has to move around a lot and has to continue to introduce herself to new people.
Her interest in Superman becomes stronger and she sees a lot of similarities and soon starts delving into the lifestyle herself, leading to a lot of interesting scenarios. NAOMI: THE COMPLETE SERIES is a different sort of show than you might expect and that’s a good thing. It’s paced very well and keeps it interesting. It’s a nice addition to the DC Universe.
