Warner Bros. Home Entertainment has just released YOUNG SHELDON: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON on DVD with all 22 episodes and some interesting extras. It will also be available on Blu-ray as well from Warner Archive Collection.
The BIG BANG THEORY-inspired show continued its successful run with Sheldon Cooper, the younger years. Growing up in Texas, Sheldon’s intelligence isn’t always understood and that is a great driver of the show. Sheldon’s fish out of water storyline creates a lot of funny situations and there was a lot of focus on adding some drama this season that was enjoyable.
Beyond the outside world understanding Sheldon, his family has the same problem and that conflict continues throughout every episode. It’s an interesting dynamic. YOUNG SHELDON: THE COMPLETE FIFTH SEASON is much of the same as the four that came before it. It’s funny at times, serious at times and stays consistent.
